Copper foil is an Anode material for Lithium Ion Battery(LIB). It serves as a pathway for the electric current and is the source to emit the heat generated by a battery. The production of copper foil requires a technology for producing mother roll of copper foil thinner and wider. SK Nexilis, a wholly-owned business of SKC, has history of producing world's first ultra-thin (4㎛) copper foil in 2019.
